Sea Escape Cruises has been specialising in catamaran charters on Sydney Harbour for over 15 years. In that time we have perfected all the details needed to ensure your event goes smoothly and is an easy process from first enquiry to the end of your time aboard.

We have the largest BYO catamaran on Sydney Harbour which enables us to make your event affordable for you and your guests. Our experience allows us to recommend the best itinerary to maximise your time on board and our packages enable you to bring along your favourite beverages and step aboard without having to worry about anything else.

Layout: Imagines’ wide beam means this is a very open, stable and spacious vessel making it an ideal party boat and great for corporate functions. The large open foredeck makes it an ideal spectator craft for all Sydney harbour events.

The cockpit has ample comfortable seating for 20, large canopy and full all round drop down clears for protection from wind and inclement weather. The saloon seats 8 with large and very spacious interior. Imagine has a very large foredeck with two netted areas for sun baking (Undercover area for up to 35 persons).

Pricing

Crewed charter for up to 30 guests – $550 per hour
Crewed charter for 31 to 45 guests – $650 per hour

Additional Charges:

Wharf fees - $50 per wharf

BYO pack - cost $150 (includes: ICE, eskies, plastic cups, plastic wine glasses, plastic champagne flutes, plastic plates, cutlery, napkins, platters, utensils, and garbage disposal)

BBQ usage surcharge - cost $250 (THE CREW WILL COOK THE BBQ) (includes: oil, gas, platters, foil trays, utensils, and cleaning fee)

* that Imagine’s wet weather undercover area is limited to a maximum of 35 guests.

* All prices include GST Prices provide for use of the boat and crew.

* Minimum of 4 hour cruise on weekends and during peak periods.

* Please contact us for cruises over 4 hours, Cruises less than three hours are charged at the three hour rate. Public Holidays, Special Event Days and Peak Periods are calculated at a special rate please contact us for a quote. Discounts may apply for fringe season, early bookings and repeat customers please contact us with the details of your cruise.

Minimum order value of $800 for feasting platter menus, unless ordered as extras to accompany a main meal

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a toilet on board?

Yes, much like the type you find on an airplane.

Is there a stereo on board?

Yes, Imagine has an integrated sound system with speakers around the vessel.

Do I need to bring an iPod/ aux cable?

No, one is supplied for you.

Can we have fresh water showers?

Unfortunately no, the shower is located in the same room as the toilet. Therefore, it is not able to be used on charters.

Is smoking permitted on board?

Yes, only in two designated areas.

Are there eskies on board?

Yes there are two 100L fibreglass eskies on board for all your drinks. These eskies are top of the range insulated eskies that will cool your drinks rapidly and keep them cold all day.

Is there a fridge?

Yes, but it is different to a normal domestic fridge and only small items will fit in it. Large platters, containers or cakes will not fit in the fridge due to its irregular shape.

Is swimming allowed?

Most of the time during daylight hours swimming is permitted while the vessel is anchored securely. However, on some rare occassions the Master may not permit swimming for safety reasons. In this case the masters decision is final. Access to the water is very easy with Imagines’ stern steps leading right down into the water.

Is there a BBQ?

Yes, if you would like to have a BBQ the crew will cook it for you. To use the BBQ we have a $250 Usage and cleaning charge. Note: the vessel must be anchored to BBQ.

If it is bad or wet weather on the day can I cancel or postpone my cruise?

The short answer is no, unless Sea Escape Cruises cancels because they feel it is unsafe. Please refer to SEC terms and conditions.
